3. AI Processing and Model Improvement

3.1 Purpose of Processing

Your submitted academic content is processed by automated artificial intelligence models to generate marking feedback and educational insights.

3.2 Model Training and Optimization

By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use de-identified versions of your submitted data (such as essays and assignments) for the purposes of training, refining, and improving our artificial intelligence models and algorithm performance.

3.3 Data De-identification

We take reasonable steps to ensure that any data used for model training is stripped of direct personal identifiers to protect user anonymity.

4. Overseas Data Disclosure and Location

4.1 Infrastructure Location

The Service utilizes international cloud infrastructure and AI processing technology. You acknowledge and consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States, where our primary AI service providers are located.

4.2 Data Protection

We take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle your personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

5.1 Retention Period

We retain your account information for the duration of your active subscription.

5.2 Post-Termination Retention

Following the deletion of your account, we will retain your submitted academic content (essays and assignments) for a period of two (2) years. This is maintained for the purposes of system integrity, academic verification, and continued model optimization as outlined in Section 3.

5.3 Final Disposal

After the two-year retention period, we will take reasonable steps to permanently delete or irreversibly de-identify the data.
